GameCube: The Next Console We’re Taking On

We’ve tackled a fair few consoles already, but there’s always another machine sitting on the shelf waiting for its turn.

Next up: the Nintendo GameCube.

The GameCube is a console we’ve wanted to get stuck into for a while, and we’re now starting to look at what we can do with it, how far we can take it, and what we can bring to the GhostF4C3 Gaming community.

From its iconic little purple cube design to some of the most memorable games of the early 2000s, the GameCube has earned its place as one of Nintendo’s most loved consoles. Now it’s time for us to see what we can do with one.

As with our other console projects, we’re not interested in simply doing the bare minimum. We want to explore the possibilities — modifications, upgrades, improvements and ways of bringing these old consoles back into the spotlight while keeping the character that made them special in the first place.

This is only the beginning.

We’re still in the early stages of figuring out exactly what the GameCube project will look like, so we’re not going to make promises about everything just yet.

What we can say is that GameCube is officially on our radar.

Expect plenty of experimenting, testing and probably a few things going horribly wrong along the way. That's part of the fun.

Once we’ve got things figured out, we’ll be sharing the results right here — including projects, modifications, progress updates and whatever else we manage to come up with.
